Abubakar Awwal Gadafi is a graduate of the University of Benin, where he studied Fine and Applied Arts. He specialized in Ceramics and Art History. He has a flair for painting on shirts and canvas, and is skilled in the technique of wheel-throwing. He creates and paints pots during his leisure time. 

Awwal is known for his unique pottery styles and paint. His works depict a bit of culture and has a touch of finesse.
