An understanding of the human anatomy is an important factor of character design or illustration. However, it can be difficult to grasp the facets that help develop realistic characters. This course will cover how to develop a character from start to finish using Adobe Photoshop. You will learn how to set up your drawing canvas, and how to apply your knowledge of the human body to character design. 
You will see that shapes and lines make up the skeleton of the human body, and that you can use these to sketch your characters. The skeleton is covered by the human skin and this same principle will be applied in designing your characters, so after sketching basic shapes, you will create smooth shape outlines. Finally, you will apply the final touches by adding colour to your sketch. The same process can be applied to further reference images as you practice. 

You will conclude this course feeling more confident about your ability to satisfy clients jobs, or finish up your passion project or just sketch for fun.
